Staffers at this private school call consultant pilot fish on a Monday morning to report that they can't access the Internet.

"A quick check at the wiring closet showed that the Ethernet from the cable modem to the router had been disconnected," fish says.

"Turned out that the owner of the school had been in that Saturday and was unable to access his favorite sports Web site. He disconnected the cable and plugged it directly into his laptop for unrestricted access -- but neglected to reconnect it when he left.

"It was an easy fix, and we did create an exception for him so he wouldn't need to do that again. After all, the boss is always right!"
